Respected Shri Ananthanji,

I on behalf of the staff and officers of NABARD, Nagaland Regional Office, Dimapur and also on behalf of the Organisation, would like to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to you and the staff of BSNL for extending your kind co-operation in tracing out the last recorded signal in the mobile of our colleague Shri Kamzalian, Asst. Manager, who went missing alongwith three of his family members in the early morning hours of 16th December 2006 while he was on his way to his native place of Churachandpur, Manipur after proceeding on leave from our NABARD Office at Itanagar. As you would have been apprised, our dear colleague Shri Kamzalian was traveling via Dimapur in his own vehicle and was expected to reach Kohima on 16th December 2006. However, he never reached his destination and all calls to his mobile went unresponded. We are therefore extremely grateful to the BSNL, Dimapur Circle, for responding to our request and assisting the Police authorities in doing the needful. Your prompt and kind cooperation was perhaps instrumental in saving Shri Kamzalian’s life as it helped the police authorities to locate the accident site on 20th December 2006 where Shri Kamzalian’s vehicle went off the road and plunged into a deep gorge unfortunately taking the lives of three of his family members.

I was out of station during that period and therefore could not thank you earlier. I wish to acknowledge your kind and prompt response to the request of my officers. We are indeed indebted to you and all your officers and staff for your prompt action. I would like to specially acknowledge the help rendered by your General Manager (mobile) Shri G Rajendran, for his kind cooperation. Please convey our gratitude to him and all your staff.

I also take this opportunity to wish you a warm and prosperous New Year.

With warm regards,

(Dr. G. D. Banerjee)
