He came and died for the forgiveness of sinners. He asked for the forgiveness of those who persecuted and killed him. He told us to forgive our brothers 70x7 times. He also told us that if we forgive men their trespasses, our heavenly Father will also forgive us, but if we do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will our Father forgive our trespasses. I believe Jesus did not say these in vain – without purpose. Can a unforging church or person be a true Christian – true follower of Christ?

(8) My dear Lealyan Thomte, on the one hand you seem to be a liberal or an individualist who subscribes to the occidental philosophy of "Leave me alone" and "Leave them alone." But on the other hand, you seem to be just the opposite when you seem to bother too much and are so critical about what I am and what I do. Being the one who works in diplomatic circles, you are expected to be more diplomatic than other common souls. So I cannot understand why you are irrationally so blunt and harsh to me as if we have enmity or you have an old grudge against me! In my writing (in the net), far from mentioning whether she cleared any UPSC exam or not, I did not even mention the name of my daughter once. But you unnecessarily alleged that I chosed to exploit the 15 minute fame of my daughter. Wherefrom this thought came to you? Of course, the 15 minutes fame my daughter got when she cleared IRS/IAS may be just nothing but a matter to be joked at and laughed at for some great souls like you, but for a not so fortunate people like me and my daughter, it is a great achievement – God's great blessing I am proud of it. You also mentioned about my book 'Against All Odds' and said that the few who read it would expect me to live according to it. I think you have not seen it, or if you have seen it, you don't like it. Yes, I don't expect everyone to appreciate it, but all the copies, though few in number, were sold out in a few months. In any case, it is irrelevant here and your comment is unnecessary. I don't know what makes you to bring it unless it is only with an intent to criticize me.

Coming now to the real issue under discussion, I would like to say a few things: Firstly, there is no use in saying, "Please send off your daughter in peace according to your wish…" when you knew well that it din't happen like that, and that's why you had the opportunity to sling mud at my face. Secondly, I am not  making my daughter the subject or topic; she is the object. It seems, by allowing yourself to be driven by your zeal and enthusiasm to make negative comments against me, that also out of context,  you missed the real topic or point. The subject or topic is - is there any Scripture or church bye-law which authorizes our church leaders to prohibit the members or Committees of EBC from participating, in the name of the local church, in the sending off ceremony of my daughter. It is not a matter to be joked at; it involves  fundamental issues about the church's policies and conduct. If we have a law or policy, why not apply equally and uniformly to all, without any discrimination, if we claim to be true Christians - true followers of Christ. Lastly, "The wearer knows best where the shoe pinches." I hope you understand my other points, of course only if you incline to.
